I think maybe they're thin because of the heat of a sauna, but any towel serves the same purpose, right? I do apologize that your experience was less than perfect. It was lighter and thinner than I expected, but then I realized that's great for the sauna! Hopefully it lasts for a while...

The bristles are VERY hard and sharp. This is not a brush you can use easily and comfortably - you need to be very careful
